Problem with Internet Connectivity

    Hi all

I'm new to the mac world and have a slight problem. If it was a windows problem I could probably fix it anyway, my MBP was working fine there all week but the last 2 days it hasn't been able to connect to the internet, it connects to the wireless router but does not connect to the internet. There is a icon displayed at the top of the tool bar, its a triangle with an explanation mark in it saying "alert no internet connection"

I have tried a few things like googling the issue online and looking through the macforums etc... I've tried to disconnect/connect the router, I've turned off air port and then back on again. I rang apple and they wanted 50euro to fix the issue or to send it to Compub.

    Anyone any ideas folks?!

    Have a look in

System Preferences > Network > Assist me > Diagnostics

and see if it's of any help regarding where the problem is. You should also check your network settings in Airport > Advanced. Try entering them again.
