    Hey.
Wonder if anyone here can make sense of this or has experience anything similar.
I've been with my GF for about 4 years now, and suddenly for no reason i can see..? the past few weeks I feel insecure in the relationship, like lacking trust or i just get the overall feeling something is wrong and i can't put my finger on it, I've tried to explain this to her, she doesn't know what im on about she thinks everything is better than ever.

I still feel insecure in regards of trust, I just get the feeling something bad will happen.. I have no idea why i feel this way, It's at the stage where even if nothing happened and the relationship is rock solid, My insecurities would ruin everything.

Has trust been an issue in your relationship before? Sometimes if you have a hunch, there's no smoke without fire. When you look back on things, you might look back on somethings in a different light. Can you think if anything has happened lately that has you doubting in your gf and thinking that something is wrong? Without knowing that, it is a bit hard to say why you are feeling the way you are.
On the otherhand, everyone has doubts from time to time. If it's something constantly bothering you and playing your mind, you're not going to be at peace in your relationship. You're gf seems eager to say that ye are in a good place. Is there anything from her reassurances that has you questioning things? I hope all works out for you anyways man.

How has her behaviour changed to make you feel like this?

    Hi OP,

Sorry to hear about your woes.. i actually could have written them myself. I am in a very similar situation, with my boyfriend for 18 months .. but often regularly feel insecure in relationship.. He has given me some reason.. in that he has said he is not sure if he wants to get married etc in the future (we are mid thirties). I have resolved myself to seeing how the summer goes and making a jump if he is still saying this.. But it's not easy.. In my case I think I feel insecure because I don't feel total commitment from him, he is still hedging his bets. Anything I feel stems from that really.

Is this the same with you? Do you have a reason to doubt your commitment to you?

Yep if he is still coming out with this line, I would set him free to meet someone who feels the same. You have plenty of time to meet someone else...

OP, what has changed in you? Have your circumstances etc changed?

    hey, thanks for the replies.

I think whats making me think this is gonna fall apart, is her actions, she always seems to put work first, We've talked about this so much, and she says she does it without realising, but she still does it.

I feel like a broken record talking about it at this stage, i dont think it will ever change.

Why does this impact so badly on the relationship?
