Sign up to Vista-print. In a week or two they'll have free cards, I'm surprised anyone actually buys anything there as they eventually offer everything for free.

    thanks for the info.

i just regstereed there now on vistaprints.

does that mean that i will receive an email in a few weeks offering me free business cards?

or must i just login and try to buy the business cards in a week?

    thanks very much,

It can be free, but you pay for postage. If you use stock images, then pretty soon you'll see more cards with other names on them around. Those stock images get around a bit.

They will also come on low grade paper and the quality isnt great. If you want something professional you get what you pay for and are better off getting them done properly, people will take more notice of a card that looks nice. If you arent too concerned about how they look etc then I'm sure these will do fine.

they are free cards. you pay the postage. Those cards usually have the printers name or website printed on the back which you wont get if you pay for better cards

If you're not paying for the product, then you are the product.

I would run a mile if someone handed me a business card on flimsy paper with an ad for another company on one side! Good quality cards are not that expensive, but they can be a good investment. At the risk of alienating Irish printing companies, I have heard that the cards at www.moo.com are very good value and high quality.

We got the vistaprint ones when we first started off. Local printers were looking for silly money. They are brilliant for what you are getting, they serve a purpose and I have given them out and got business from them. At the end of the day you will pay for better quality cards but for the price of postage they are totally worth it

I've ordered from vistaprint a ton of times and have never had anything printed on my cards other than what I decided to put on them, no ads for anything else. I've used stock designs for cards, postcards etc but my own images with them and have actually gotten a lot of compliments on the designs.

In the line of work I'm in the card quality isn't a big deal, I just need something with my contact info on it and the only person who has ever commented on the quality of the paper is someone who works in that area, so as freebies go they are great for getting started etc when you don't want to spend a lot.

Moo have the best quality cards I've seen in a long time! Used them a few times, really high quality card and the ability to print different things on each card is an added bonus :)

The paper vistaprint use is a joke, even on their 'premium' cards, it's the same paper. But like they say, you get what you pay for.
