engine struggling on tick-over?

    Hey guys,
    I have a 05 2l diesel mondeo with 127k miles.
    Recently the car has been making a slight rattling/vibrating noise when off the throttle between 1.5 - 2k revs as they were dropping down in the lower gears. This doesn't happen all the time and sometimes its louder than others. Also seems to be worse when turning left, more so than right.
    More recently the engine has found it difficult to idle after giving it throttle. Nearly seems to cut out sometimes. Still drives perfect though.
    Had this plugged into a computer and it's not showing up any faults.
    Any ideas?
