Hi all, me and my friend are planning on going to Oz in October. I am a carpenter by trade and he is just finished civil engineering in college. Can anyone give me a few pointers about which part of australia we should go to where we would have the best chance of getting work? I have Perth in my head cos im told the east…

I have Perth in my head cos im told the east coast is thronged with Irish now and it could be hard to get a job there. I could be totally wrong tho so any tips and advice will b greatly appreciated!
