1930s style hair

Hi all, I'm going to a do shortly and want to get my hair done in 1903's style waves. My hair would just be above bra-strap level. 1. Would my hair be too long to get it styled like the pic below (ie would the waves just fall out?) Also my hair is quite fine. 2. Would most hairdressers be able to do this style?
