I've totally gone off it...it started getting very "samey" for me. Some of the films were too "set up" as well.
    Bored of clarkson as well

Its the best thing on a sunday night (unless there is golf on) so I'll be looking forward to it.

After watching this for must be well over 10 years, I gave up on it last year.

They are all caricatures of themselves and at this stage May is the only one who is remotely likable (and then just about).

The jokes are the same every week, the segments are ridiculously staged that it is impossible to get any enjoyment out of them.

There was a time that this was actually a show about cars, but now unfortunately it is a 60 minute ego trip for its hosts.

I have to agree. It's so samey now and not even remotely interesting any more. I'll watch, but that's just because I'm a masochist lol

I gave up on this a while ago too. The only enjoyable episodes, for me anyway, are the races, Bugatti against aeroplane, and the challenges, such as the north pole and vietnam.

Bored of it too, I’ve no real gripe with the show but it’s just same oul now. In fact I think the mistake they are making is in the thinking that to keep the viewers they need to get more wacky and outrageous. Personally I’d love to see them revert to adding in at least one normal (normal being a relative word here) car review per episode. In the early Top Gears I thought Clarkson was at his most wittiest when reviewing something like a Vectra of Clio…i.e. regular cars.

I know that I’ll still watch it but I wont make the point to watch like times gone by. (I actually think I made this exact same statement last year)

I remember Clarkson reviewing a Vectra back in the days of the old Top Gear around 1998. It was absolutely hillarious. He sat in a pub for the afternoon and when he was finally made to go and drive it, he treated it like it had been dipped in a vat of the Ebola Virus!

I gave up watching about 3 or 4 years ago. They never remotely review a car anymore. I used to love that about the old Top Gear. Quentin Wilson's second hand feature was class.

I'm not interested really in whether a Veyron can get from A-B faster than a Eurofighter. Actually, at this stage it's gotten so bad that it reminds me of the type of thing women would come up with if they were asked for what they'd think would be a typical guy's show.

It's time for the BBC to call it a day on this, but they won't. That 'Star In a Reasonably Priced Car' spot is just boring IMHO.

You can watch bit's and pieces of the real old top gear on youtube. If you want to download/stream the new version of the top gear series I can give you a link.

Hammond dressed like a gap year student, Clarkson, like the daily mail in human form and May, eh, actually I like James May.

Catch it every now and then but cannot stomach the dwarf or curly nerd.

I know what I'm in for when I tune in. Sure it's getting very sandy and more and more staged but it's still a great way to pass an hour IMO.
