PC to HDTV connection problems

    Hi there!!
    i wonder if ANY1 can guide me as 2 what i need to connect my pc to my tv.
    Listed is what i have,maybe i need a pci card r something??????



    DELL OPTIPLEX GX520 to phillips hd tv

    *Video Graphics Controller . . . . . .. Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
    *vga to dvi adapter
    *dvi to hdmi cable
    *audio cable
    i have achieved audio but no joy with picture.i am using monitor vga slot to connect.there must be a way to keep my pc monitor with a splitter or something.as of now i can get NO connection apart for audio

    quote from tv manual:-
    "Connecting a PC to the TV
    Your TV can be used as a computer monitor.
    NOTE: A PC connection is only available
    via HDMI connector. VGA connection is not
    supported."

    all replies greatly appreciated as this is doing my head in
