I was interested in doing the door supervisory procedures course and getting a PSA license. I have been in contact with this group who say they regularly conduct courses in Galway after seeing this advert

Since then I have sent them a few emails to confirm the course in Galway and have become slightly suspicious that it may be a scam. The spelling is constantly all over the place, there is a misspelling in their email address which is bad enough, they have mixed up the dates for the Galway course on 2 occasions and after checking their website it has since been suspended. Although it seems clear cut to stay away I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this company before and if I should do their course this weekend or look else where. Would appreciate any help people have.

Check the FETAC website they are the state bodies which gives quality assurance to their certification - or email them.

If you dont get a swift answer get on to your TD

I'd be hoping that the psychotic defence policies pursued by the Israeli people and their military force, would not be the kind of work experience that would qualify you to instruct people on how to perform door work in Galway.

EDIT: It's kind of reflective of the general standard of people getting into the security industry, that the person behind that website, which claims to train people to do door work, can't even spell the word "security"...
