Part of it will mention Medjugorje (or a special on it) on Friday's episode, as this year is the 30th anniversary of the Apparitions.

I've been there twice, a wonderful experience!

For the first time in Church history the Vatican removed the jurisdiction over the apparition from the local Ordinary when the investigation into Medjugorje was taken away from the then-bishop of Mostar, Bishop Zanic!

The Vatican's current Secretary of the State Cardianl Tarcisio Bertone wrote an official letter confirming that pilgrimages to medjugorje are permitted and that the opinions on Medjugorje of Bishop Ratko Peric, the current Bishop of Mostar, are to be treated strictly "as his personal opionion" with no authority?

In his own handwriting, Pope JPII wrote, "I thank sophia for everything concerning Medjugorje, I too, go there everday as a pilgrim in my prayers"!!

Believing in Medjugorje has always made me nervous, still a lot of question marks. However it's really an amazing spiritual place. Every christian should go there.

I'd like to believe it's true, but will wait to see what the Vatican decides! :)
