    Iarnród Éireann has announced another great summer rail fare promotion, with major savings now available for family seven-day return tickets, and family day passes for DART and Commuter services throughout the summer!

    Beginning 18th June 2011 until 31st August 2011, families of two adults and up to four children can make savings of up to €59 when they book rail travel for breaks at home of up to seven days! Fare examples include:

    Other promotions

    - Summer Saturday Day returns from Dublin: - A €20 Day Return fare from Dublin to any where in the Republic of Ireland by rail on Saturdays (€10 for children, €50 for a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children) - only available from the booking office – every Saturday from now until end of August

    - 50% discount on tickets booked online for travel on Saturdays and some services on Sundays during the summer period. STARTS later in June 2011, date to be confirmed
