if you email customer.care-UK@sodastream.com they will tell you where to get it.... their customer care is actually fantastic!

I found a random electronics store called sherwoods in Kilkenny selling everything soda stream related.

i noticed those soda streams in argos when i was in there the last time. i was like :). mainly cos 'wow they are back' 'so happy i want one' 'crud i cannot afford to buy one today and must now leave without one'.

seriously contemplating adding it to the list of stuff i have that i rarely use tho! so if you find out where to buy the syrups lemme know

one in argos is half price now an all! absolute bargain, and soda stream have informed me argos have to take back canisters and give refills for a tenner! bargain 2! and the syrups can be bought in random local places for only a fiver!!! bargain 3...plus you save a fortune on recycling bottles....

i should be their sales rep!

Customer.Care-UK@sodastream.com - if you email them, they'll tell you local stockists, as i said earliers, genuinely the nicest customer care ive ever dealt with

We had a Soda Stream back in the day. I wonder have they changed the flavour concentrate at all or the pressure of the gas that carbonates the water?

They were tasty as a kid, not so sure I'd like them now though!

Planning on getting one, does it still make that farty noise when you press the button, that's my fave memory of soda stream.

yeah! i forgot about that and it scared the hole off me! three farts and shes done! how can making drinks like that not be awesome!

My cousin Margaret had one, c.1986. The drink was nothing special as I recall but I bet it was far cheaper per litre than what you'd get in a can. Coca-Cola and Fanta and the like were about 40 - 45p a can... and that was in the North!

    That's very expensive

Around 1990 a can was 32p and supercans were 50p
    Bring back supercans

I'm definitly going to pick up a sodastream.

I'm sure I saw LOADS of the refills in Harvey's at the kinsale rd in cork about 2-3 weeks ago.

The retrospective on Soda Stream has thrown up a general consensus that they were crap, but I have to say we had one and I liked it! It was very exciting putting the bubbles in. I always expected the canister to explode.

Saw large containers in Power City the other day.

to be perfectly honest ive given up buying the actual syrups...

i use any of the double concentrate stuff...its just as good if you like orange!

if you email soda stream directly they will forward any stockists onto you. I know of one shop in Kilkenny selling them if thats of any use to anyone

of course there is also ebay, and argos sell the 12 packs of samples. these will make 12 litres of different flavoured drinks.

    also

NB- you can get the gas refilled for a fraction of the cost of a new canister!

Indian Tonic Water was given away free with our Thorn Cascade (not Soda Stream)* in 1984. Nice.
