Crap front teeth - what are my options?

Alright so. I have upper front teeth that I can comfortably describe as being "not great". There's decay present on all of them, one incisor is cracked (from being punched as a teenager) and the cap from the other one, from the same punch, is missing. I want to get my teeth fixed, and I'm curious as to what is the more affordable (yes, that) and suitable option: Partial dentures, implants, crown or something else entirely? I am admittedly ignorant of what my options and costs may be.

Out of deference to the forum's charter I am not asking for specific information on pricing or providers; plus there's this whole unemployed-and-flat-broke thing that is holding me back. I need a goal to work toward.

    Thanks! :)

Firstly its never a good option to take out teeth unless absolutely necessary especially front ones. Dentures can loos good but are never as comfortable as teeth or implants. If teeth need to be removed then bridges or implants are a good option. It sound like you have the teeth its just they need some work. White fillings, veneers or crowns may be an option depending on the extent of damage.

Best to go to a dentist and get your options, once you know what you need your in a better position to think about treatment and costs.

I had decay on 3 of my front teeth (pretty bad decay) and the dentist i went to just put fillings in them and now they are perfect. :)

I went to a Dentist Who Shall Not Be Named Here (PM me for it), following a referral from boards.ie. I loved it. She managed to almost completely fix my smile in one sitting, by working on three specific teeth. There's one other beyond the broken tooth that still needs work by a specialist that is simply beyond my budget right now.

The prices quoted to me for further repair work were extraordinarily low when compared to my old dentist (one-sixth of what my old dentist quoted) and the level of service in general was excellent. Maybe my only possible warning to others is that the chairside manner of the dentist who served me is nonexistent. She said hello, did the work, said goodbye and walked away, no chatter. This is something I really enjoyed because small talk is death of a thousand cuts to me.

Would really recommend them to other people and go again.

You are saying she made no attempt to explain what she was going to do, what she did or the care for the future. If I read your post correct this is the opposite of good care and is bordering on assault..everyone to their own I suppose?
