Im going to respray my M1911 but not sure on the colour. Would black be ok, matt or gloss? I was going to just strip it and polish it but TBH i don't like the "bling" look. ;) Should it be primed first? I know Krylon say it dosen't need to be primed.

just use krylon camo black no need for a primer
