So every now and again, we get a few beers and watch Standup dvds, great way to break up a working week!

Weve gone through the Tommy Tiernans, the Jim Jeffries, Eddie Murphy, Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran...

Maybe we could build up a list of must see dvds to recommend to people??

Add names to the list, and let it build! :D

    Tommy Tiernan
    Jim Jeffries
    Eddie Murphy
    Bill Bailey
    Dylan Moran

    Chris Rock

20 posts & over 20 comedians listed so far and nobody mentioned Chris Rock.
Gotta say I'm surprised by that. All his DVDs are great. He's my favourite comedian.

Doug Stanhope (I know it's lazy to say but he's kind of the new Bill Hicks). He's playing a month of shows in London in August. I pray he comes over here to do a show in September. He's got 2 or 3 DVD's out as far as I know.

Both Dara O'Briain's dvds, the way he interacts with the audience is brilliant.

Lee Evans DVD's are very good one of them is 2 and a half hours, it never lets up, great value.

And as someone else mentioned, any of Jimmy Carr's. Simply brilliant!

Depends on who is in the spacesuit really :pac:

My own addition is The Original Kings of Comedy which has Steve Harver, D.L Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer and Bernie Mac. Have seen it so many times now and laugh every time.

Lee Mack and Dara O Briain. Mack's the funniest comedian out there at the moment for my money. Loved his Absolute Radio podcasts as well, seriously funny.
