    hi guys long time reader first time threading just looking for your opinion on the .270 round i would be interested to see what grain and brand is giving you the best overall results i,ve put 130grain dynamit noble through my remmy and the results have been mixed:

    I've been using PRVI 130gr... I think they grouped better during the snow than they do now. But overall they've been Very good value. What are you not happy about?

    Next week I'll be home-loading some 90gr Speer-TNT and 130gr Interlock SSTs. I'll keep you updated on how they go... I also have a box of Hornady factory ammo I hope to try out in the next week to see how they go...

    poor grouping at targets and the occasional" Dead sitter" miss my local ammo suppiler only sells these so have went futher afield and got remmington soft points 130 grain as this is a problem i dont want come september havent tried them yet will let you know

    you'd be as well trying other ammo from somewhere.
    I have a huge selection of .270 ammo here, even though practically no-one shoots .270!

    Also check the gun, inspect the crown etc...

    Have you had the rifle for long. And have you had good results with this ammo before and now it is not performing.

    If so it could be that your barrel needs a good clean if it is getting copper fowling.

    Or have you changed the scope in any way or only fitted it.
    Make sure the scope is fitted properly

    Just 2 alternatives worth checking.
