    Hi,

I'm using Leopard OS on a Macbook Pro on UPC BB, but the last time I hooked up to a connection via ethernet was in a school and the tech guy there changed all my network/proxy/port settings which I don't have a clue about. Now I can't connect to a normal broadband router via ethernet. Can someone help?

    Thanks a mil.

EDIT: Scratch that, I just got connected after more messing with it - should it connect to any normal broadband connection now with the cable?
