Teaching in South Korea

Hey, am hoping to go teaching in South Korea for a few months. Will be there by the end of April. Although the school year starts in Feb, would it be easy enough to get a job in April?

How far in advance do I need to apply for my visa if I intend to work there?

    Thanks!

You need to find a job first and then apply for a visa to teach in Korea. Start looking 2/3 months before your intended departure date. Most English teaching jobs are 12 month contracts. There is another thread on boards.ie dedicated entirely to teaching in South Korea;Tefl in South Korea or go to Daves ESL cafe: Korean Job Discussion Forums Forum Index.
