Question for the Cork MTB'ers. Is this the entrance to Garryduff?

Ive never gone in that way but im sure its possible.

There is a small lane down the side of Garryduff sports centre you can get in from and also a way in from the park next to garryduff "Belmont Ave"

Havnt been there in a while now but we used go to the end of belmont ave and accross the park and down a very steep hill into the woods.

Thats it. Ride up the driveway until you get to a gateway on the right hand side with a few small boulders blocking access. Take a left at the barrier and keep riding til you get to the large open clearance. Pass the mound on the left, and keep an eye out for the narrow opening on the left. This is the start of the classic loop. FYI this is regarded as a one way system.

    There's a loop :)
Ended up in a field on the far side when I did it

There's a few loops, but none include ending in a field. Was the field exciting?

Thanks lads heading out for about six, and sure I'm only going the one way. ;)

This might help you out studiorat.

It's a video of the Garryduff trail shot by me and my go pro. Just for helping people out to be honest, I've not got much skill :D

I've done a few laps with others who know the way and a member commented on a forum post of mine telling me to go right at 8 minutes or so ( I added an annotation.)

I prefer this tasteful and sexy version:

However Richards video raises a good point, usually the Duff is as wet as a soggy biscuit but just as much fun*.

Got to the mound and went straight!! Long straight climb up and then cut left around the top of the forest. Back down beside/through an old wall and came out back at the mound again. There's also another track near the mound just lower down from that? Had a look but wasn't sure where it was going.

Going soft to good. Very enjoyable drop if not a little short.

Looks like I went the wrong way around it!! :D Anti-Clockwise.

You went up the kind of road/track which isn't part of the trail and then came down the wrong way :pac:

Right, checked my video and I've got my going to the entrance, Sadly my camera was facing the ground a bit too much, But you should be able to tell
