Hey, how long does the 14 or 14A take into town at peak times (start work at 9 finish at 5:30) theres a job offer for me near Earlsfort/Harcourt Street and I would get the bus near Ballinteer Com School.

Can't get luas as it's too expensive with parking/petrol and the buses where I live in D24 are crap and don't go near it!

Journey time from Broadford (opposite the community school) to Earlsfort Terrace increases as the morning peak sets in.

During school term, the 0730 departure from Dundrum (usually in Broadford at about 0735-0740) will have you in Earlsfort Terrace for about 0820, the 14a after it at 0745 from Dundrum (0750-0755 from Broadford) would be in town for 0840.

Coming home it would usually take 40 minutes depending on traffic.

During the summer, morning peak journey times would be faster obviously with no schools traffic.

Peak time bus services on the 14 tend to take between 40-45 mins depending on traffic, off peak usually 30mins

What part of Dublin 24 do you live?

Earlsfort Terrace is only a short walk from Camden Street which is served by the 65 and 65B, and only a 15 minute walk from College Green which has a frequent bus service to Dublin 24.

Hey, thanks, I'm in Saggart just near Citywest Shopping Ctr, I heard they are cancelling the 65/65B and you have to get a 77 now, maybe I am wrong?!

The 65 will still be there.

The 69 might be the best option from Saggart. It's faster to the city than Luas and will leave you at College Green.

There is also a proposal to re-route the 68 through Camden Street, you could change to this bus at Nass Road, and it will leave you 2 minutes walk from Earlsfort Terrace.
