Hotpoint Freezer problem

I have a Hotpoint upright freezer that is supposed to be frost free & not need defrosting but the ice constantly builds up in it behind the panel inside the freezer. When this happens I have to take the drawers out & unscrew the panel & use a hair dryer to defrost. This has to be done every 6 weeks or so. I tried unplugging & leaving it defrost itself & it took days! I've had the Hotpoint serviceman out & after charging me €80 he told me frostfree never works and to tilt the freezer backwards to encourage the water to run off, this didn't work. It appears that the outlet for the water is too small & the water freezes in it stopping drainage.

Has anyone a similar problem with Hotpoint? Did you find a solution? Alternatively, can anyone recommend a brand of frost free freezer that works.
