    Hi All,

Been lurking here for a while picking up bits an pieces of good information. Planning on playing a few courses in Kerry and have seen mention of a Kerry Card which gives you green fee concessions. Anyone know if this is something you can purchase and where ? Or is it only something a member of one of the local clubs can get ?

Ya, if you join a club in Kerry, you then automatically get the Kerry Card. It allows you play any course in Kerry at a discounted (1/2 price?) rate.

Thanks. I had a feeling it sounded like something only available to local club members. A great idea.

Anyone played Tralee recently? What are green fees these days? Think it was in the region of €180

    €180 still going by website.

Played there back in April with a society, place was in great nick for time of the year. We paid 50 on the day which wasnt too bad. Could never pay the full whack.

€180 is too steep. I played the intermediate scratch cup there last year for €50, was unlucky that it poured rain for whole round. Still thought it was an amazing place, that and the old head are probably two best courses I've played so far.

Presume Tralee isn't open for any type of membership at present

Inter Scratch on there on 2nd July. Down from €50 last year to €35 this year. I'm booked and ready to go. Bargain at €35

I'm out of inter now, down to junior. So can't play that, some bargain at €35 though.

Not sure if they are taking new members this year but they have in the past couple of years. The joining fee was around €8,000.

It's 530, of which 50 is for tab in the bar.

That's good value there. Any idea if they ever offer country membership?

I spend a bit of time in Tralee, if there was ever a decent offer there it's a place I'd consider joining.
