    Hi Folks,
I have UPC in my home for my broadband and at the moment I am paying approx €31 per month. I am considering getting something so that I can watch TV in another room...

UPC have said If I add the TV package onto my broadband, my bill will be €45 per month (an extra 15)...Is this any good do you think?

The only other option is to get a combo box which is €130..not sure what to do?

    wrong forum . try here

combo box will need a satellite dish, and install. and maybe an aerial, cheaper in the long run, as you will have all the channels.

    All what channels?

If you want anything with any good first-run content other than terrestrial broadcasters, you won't get it for free (Sky1, Comedy Central etc.)

If you don't want them that could work out better.

Sorry to hijack this but wondering on people's view of the current deal that I'm getting offered from UPC. Basic Digital TV, phone and broadband for 62 per month, free installation, free router/phone.
    1 year contract.

I'm currently on smart for phone/t'internet and UPC basic analogue total approx 80pm.

Its not clear from their site if the basic DTV package includes recording.
    Could anyone confirm that?

    Thanks.
