Anyone know if the hot yoga is still going on in Briarhill over Dunnes. Nothing came up on old web page. Is it just down on Tuam Road now? Are classes big down there?

I used to attend the ones in Tuam Rd but gave up as was a total money-grabbing exercise, we were stuffed in. I had a guys ass in my face one day and after paying top dollar thought it a bit rich to be honest. Other than that I loved them.

Nice to see it wasn't just me who left the Hot Yoga on the Tuam Road due to overcrowding. Total lack of respect for people who are paying €15.

I'd love to know if it is still as busy. I did love it but just couldn't move in there!

Oh might give it a miss so, I usually do it in the Carlton Hotel but they are away for 6wks to the states training. Might give myself a rest and just go back to them when they back.:D €15 is quite expensive aswell I pay €10.

it is still quite busy especially the 6.30 classes mon+wed and the
11am class on saturday can be near full at time

you're spot on though...there should never be 40 people in a room
that size and its just uncomfortable and a gold mine
on the other hand, at least there's decent size changing rooms now.
wasnt that long ago when there was 10-15 people queuing for one toilet
and one shower in a tiny mens room about 5 feet wide and 10feet long and
when you put more than 4 lads it in the smell was unbearable at times.
i have on occasion arrived late and if i see theres more than 30 people
in the room i just turn around and leave.
there's a lad doing the morning classes there at the weekend though (and a few others during the week) and his classes are just fantastic
he's totally into yoga in a very big way so i would urge anyone who has
done it in the past just to try one of his classes
explains everything so well and know an awful lot about how the
    body works also

for the life of me though.......why aren't there more people teaching
    this yoga?

i welcomed the briarhill yoga when it arrived and attended it a few times
but gave up as it was a little different and there were some other problems.
he used to attend the hotyoga on the tuam road and if he did the exact same
thing and more or less copied the other studio he would have done much better.
shame really as i really wanted him to do well as he was a nice bloke

I actually went back recently to the tuam road hot yoga as I wanted to tone up and lose weight. I agree Mailburner, Daniel is fantastic. On my 1st day back he was teaching and he stopped people coming in when he had 35 I think it was. I was very impressed. I really enjoyed his classes!

It is great to see they have refurbished the place but there is still only one toilet in the girls changing rooms!!

I am going to try the hot yoga in the Calton hotel next week. I will be delighted if he is as good as Daniel as it is only 11 euro.
