    Hi all,

    I've finally got around to organising an "ALL MUSICIANS WELCOME" session here in Waterford.

    It's on this Thursday night (23rd) in the Brasscock Bar in the Woodlands on the Dunmore Rd. (thanks to Chris from the Brasscock).

    There are five musicians confirmed so far, and hopefully more will just stroll in on the night.

    So, if you're interested, please just stroll in on the night! (Or send me a PM in advance to know more)

    I'll be there around 9.00pm and all going well, we'll start making noise before 9.30pm.

    I'll be playing at the session too, by the way.

    Just in case anyone thinks I'm some sort of promoter and am out to make money from this session - that's not what this is about at all.

    It's a pure social event.

    If i can fix my guitar i might be there, i finish my exams that afternoon so i dunno. What kinda stuff would it be, or would it just be an open mic?

    The idea is that people would all sit around together and take turns to play whatever they chose:
    • their favourite song,
    • a song they're trying to learn & want others to play along with,
    • a song they think others would like,
    • etc.
    ...using whatever instrument they want.

    People take their turn and then either join in with others when they play or just sit back and enjoy listening to the others taking their turn.

    That's the loose plan anyway, but sure we can see what happens.

    It'd be great if you could turn up.
