    Hi

I've been spread betting a while with CMC , they have moved to a new platform which has been a bit of a pain in the ass to me.

The latest annoyance is that I cannot short LinkedIn on it.

I think this is a company policy thing , not just the new platform.

Anyone know a company where I can do this ?

    Thanks.

I don't have the answer you're looking for, but I follow these guys on twitter and I know they see things the same as you. they've alluded to it still being quite expensive to do so aswell - Short Logic

Don't know anything about spread-betting but can't you buy Puts for LinkedIn?

I wish they had something like this for the new Tech stocks like LinkedIn, Pandora and Groupon (Can't believe that piece of crap is gonna float!).

All I can recommend is what I know and use. I've been using www.optionsxpress.com for the last two years. I can't speak highly enough of this site. You can trade everything from stocks to currencies, and of course options. The tools and interface are easy to use, and funding the account is done by a wire transfer. They have a helpline here in Europe too and real time chat help during US trading hours.

You can short any US traded stock via this site.

If you need more help PM me.
