Using flights only of a package holiday?

Hi,
would we be likely to encounter any problems if we booked a package holiday but only used the flights?Apart from annoying the rep, I can live with that.

Wouldn't say it would cause any problems. Might be an idea to inform the rep when you get to your destination airport though in case they assume you haven't travelled and sell your return flights. I thought most package operators would happily sell you flight only anyway on charter flights.

Package Holidays companies do have the Flight Only option.
It usually stays the same price while the flight + accomodation price fluates leading up to the date of travel.

As veetwin suggests, I have signed in with the company aswell at the airport.

But I havnt ever caged a free lift into town or somewhere convenient with the package company bus. I'm thinking perhaps the return trip from Hotel(s) to Airport might be easier to get a lift. If you know the time of collection from a specific Hotel.

I have Greek and Bulgarian friends who do this because it works out cheaper.
Just let the rep know and it should be ok.
Its annoying for the owners of your apt though,cos they're left with an empty room they may get an extra few euro for by letting it out to someone else who was just getting the flight option.
