Hi guys ive started a re-furb of my engine bay, removing all nuts and bolts and metal parts to remove any corrosion, re-paint and re-grease everything. Now the problem is when removing my Rad stay the bolt i snapped the bolt  Now i know the usual things of welding a washer and nut or easy outs but A) i dont think and easy out will do and B)i dont want to weld as its very close to paint thats in perfect condition :(

So basically i was trying to get around it so when i took my bumper off, from underneath there is some of the bolt protruding, enough for me to get an other nut onto it, so here comes the question is there any adhesive material strong enough so i could use to seal the nut to the bolt to try and remove it.

    Thanks in advance guys

Could you not weld a nut to the underneath bolt?

Soak the snapped bolt with WD40 and leave for a while. Then lock a vice grips to the bolt from the bottom and turn.

Do it the old Scottish way, chew drill it out.
Is it too tight of a space to get a drill in? is there any of the bolt sticking out? can you put anything on it?

    Very tight for space
Soak the snapped bolt with WD40 and leave for a while. Then lock a vice grips to the bolt from the bottom and turn.

Again im tight for space and cant get a full grip on it with the angle i have to come in from

Snapped one drill bit allready coming from above where it snapped and no access from underneath

Is there any glues/cements that would be worth a try if i was to put a nut or two at the end of the bolt?

Just keep drilling, you will go throw a few bits. Welcome to the world of mechanics:pac:

You mentioned you have room for 2 nuts to fit on the bolt sticking out the bottom of the car.You could screw on the 2 nuts, and lock one against the other. Then stick a spanner on the nut nearest the car body and unscrew the bolt out.

the last post is the best if you can get two nuts on it if you cannot then spray plenty of wd 40 on the protruding part and go to b and q or ant mc quillians tool shops and buy an easy out tool basically it is a drill bit that screws in in a reverse way and with the wd 40 well soaked in it will come out no problem i usede this on a 73 ford capri .....:D:D:D:D:D:D:pac::pac::pac:.billbee.

There is some two component cement you can get in motorfactors, or JML does it (Tescos and Dunnes), it looks like a grey sausage, lighter grey on the outside, darker grey on the inside (or vice versa), it sets rock hard and can be machined and drilled.
Forget what it's called, it's some kind of epoxy putty but sets far harder than any other two component stuff.
Sorry I can't be more specific, bought some years ago.

    edit: found it:
