Final Year Of College/Part Time Job/A Business?

Typical college student here, with a run of the mill part time job. Going into final year now, so time to knuckle down.

I have a wee venture that I have written up a business plan for. So far so good, have passed it by one or two people and received a good reception. Found a partner who is very interested and willing to go 50/50 on it. Pretty sure any additional investment required can be attained, financing it won't cost thousands.

I have access to a few people who have worked in the industry, who have contacts and so forth who can lend some expertise.

Only major problem is the work load, i'll be essentially giving up whatever free time ill have and more, allot more to run it. Partner can help with allot of that, but id like to keep a handle on it all.

Is it too much to handle? I could leave it for a year, but I see a gap in the market and wonder how long it will last before someone else fills it.

You can sit final year of college any time. Hell, you can even do it part time through distance learning.

mate running a business is hard, you will have to give up a lot of your social life and prepare to be late to a lot of events and parties and the like , its worth it in the end but very hard to start
