    Hi,
I have an audi tt older model 1.8 and the front flex exhaust has a hole in it. I am been told it is not recommended to weld and i am looking at 300 for the part and depending on how the installation goes it could take a few hours to put in so it could 500-600?? firstly does this sound right price wise i didnt expect to be that much?? i am living in northside dublin if anyone could recommend a garage that they think could do it cheaper it would be great I am due my nct so need to get it done asap

    Thks

If the flexi is made as one piece with a large part of the exhaust, it will be much cheaper to buy a generic flexi section of proper dimension, cut out the old flexi and weld in new one.
