Driver's Door Not Locking W/ Key Fob

Today, out of the blue, the driver's door on my Mazda6 MPS stopped locking with the keyfob.

Every other door locks and unlocks as normal but driver's door stays open.

I am able to lock it using the key itself but would like to sort this out.

    Could it be the solenoid?

P.S. the wiring loom is fine :)

It's probably the solenoid, but it's possible you just knocked the connector off it. Perhaps pop the inner door panel off and give a jiggle before buying a replacement? And check the other end?

If you've already tried both ends, pop a multimeter on it, see if power's getting to it. If it is, then it must be the solenoid.

I'll give that a try but it's going to have to wait until it stops raining. I've nowhere to do that indoors.

Seems to be back working again which leads me to think that there's something loose inside rather than a failed solenoid

    Or perhaps damp?

Possibly but I want to get a panel seperator to get the door card off instead of just pulling it off and risking breaking the tabs. Haven't a clue where I'd get one though!

eBay's usually great for that sort of thing. If you mean local, while I hate sending people to Halfrauds, they do tend to carry all sorts of bits.
