    Hi,

I am just wondering where to start and what I may be entitled to.

I have just accepted a place on a postgrad course starting in September.
I finished my undergraduate in 2002 and did not receive a grant at the time.
Presently I have just returned from working in England and have spent the last few years both traveling and working. I have been resident in an EU country for 3 of the last 5 years.

I would appreciate advice on where to start- do I wait on the form to be released and apply to my locally? I have rent and working details for all of the last year.
What else will I need to get? The postgrad course is not located in my home town.

    Many thanks!:D

Try and get together as many bills as possible showing proof of address both in October of last year - get bank statements, birth cert or passport, anything listing savings, any bills you can from last 5 years, pay slips

The forms will be at www.studentfinance.ie - you fill them out and send to your local county council

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
