    Luke Slater - www.lukeslater.com
Having burst back on to the scene in 2009 with his Planetary Assault Systems 'Temporary Suspension' album on tastemaker Berlin label Ostgut Ton, Luke Slater has been instrumental in reinvigorating the scene which he helped to create by bringing back techno's traditional values. The human embodiment of the cyclical nature of music, Slater's many incarnations have, at various points in the past two decades, come to define techno. Now in 2011, Slater has his sight fixed firmly on the future.

The gimmick-free, ultra techno that defined 'Temporary Suspension' provided the perfect antidote to the fussier, abstract music that has ruled in recent times. The impact of this album can be measured against the demand for Slater’s gripping P.A.S. Live performances that has been toured throughout 2009 and 2010 at festivals and club shows including Melt!, Dour, Mysteryland, I Love Techno, BLOC Weekender, Awakenings, Berghain, Fabric, Nitsa, Sub Club, Klubbers Day, Aquasella, Atomic Jam, DEAF, Free Your Mind and Time Warp.

With the P.A.S live tour now almost complete; Slater’s performance endeavors will mainly focus on his busy DJ schedule again. 2011 will see Luke Slater appearances across Europe’s best clubs and festivals. In between the weekend adventures, the veteran producer will be locked away in his Spacestation Ø UK studio as he prepares to take his music to new heights with a follow up album for Ostgut Ton scheduled for release towards the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Luke’s Mote-Evolver is rapidly morphing into one of those labels that can do no wrong. With an impressive run of artists and releases such as Planetary Assault Systems, Cari Lekebusch, Samuli Kemppi, Lucy, Marcel Fengler, Shifted and L.B. Dub Corp; Mote-Evolver continues to deliver fresh momentum to the scene by steadfastly sticking to the twin values of consistent quality and varied content.

    Jimpster - www.myspace.com/jimpster
Jamie Odell aka Jimpster and Audiomontage has been producing, remixing and DJing for the last 19 years and co-running his Freerange Records [voted Best British Label 2007] label for the last 15 of those. His musical upbringing and early introduction to production [his first release was on UK label Jumpin’ & Pumpin’ in 1990] and DJing have helped him forge a sound that is at once warm and deep as well as being innovative and also club friendly.

His seminal Jimpster LP Messages From The Hub [1997], as well as his more dancefloor orientated Audiomontage 12”s really helped establish Jamie as an artist of some merit and he quickly became in regular demand as a remixer [over 75 at the last count!] and co- producer on a wide range of underground projects. His third Jimpster LP Amour was released 4 years ago on Freerange to excellent critical acclaim and appeared in numerous published Top 20 LP's of the year charts.

In recent years he has released his first original track for another label, choosing Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly for Square Up which went on to become a big underground house track of the year. His last 12” for Freerange was Sleeper, another deep house anthem which was nominated for numerous Best Dance Single Awards as well as sitting at the top of the Beatport charts for a month. Recent artists to get the Jimpster midas touch in the form of a remix include Josh Wink, Photon Inc, Osunlade, Bob Marley, Joris Voorn, Seal, Marc Romboy, Solomun... The list goes on.

Over the past 5 or 6 years Jamie has built up a reputation as a highly regarded DJ in the UK and around the world, having played over 100 gigs last year alone. With an emphasis on the deeper end of electronic house music, but not afraid to stray from the path, he retains an old school approach that has seen him booked for gigs as diverse as Fabric and Plastic People [London], Panorama Bar and Watergate [Berlin], Cielo [NYC], Warehouse 702 [Tokyo], Zoo Project [Ibiza], D-Edge [Sao Paulo], Fabrik [Madrid].

    Phew!
Thought it may have been cancelled.
On reflection, maybe it was RA, and not Bodytonic I was looking at it on previously.

Was checkin the price of tickets for this online today just to see what kind of a mark up Ticketmaster were putting on them. On Tickets.ie they're 12 euro flat charge, no service fee. On Ticketmaster they're 17.45 plus a 2.20 service charge making them 19.65!!!!!!!!! Now we all know what a shower of c*nts Ticketbastard are but charging nearly 65% extra per ticket is taking the fcukin piss. Not having a go at Subject here, in fact props for getting Slater over and 12 euro a ticket is a great price:cool:

I bought mine in Spindizzy for €12. When I sent to Planetary Assault System in Andrews Lane same story, can't remember exact price just no extras. When I last went to a Luke Slater DJ gig in The Underground it was either tickets.ie or eventelephant (or did I just make that up lol) and there were no "Extras". That's what pissed me off about that recent Asylum reunion and the organisers really should just boycott ticketthieverymasters and use one of the above instead. I guarantee that they would sell a hell of a lot more tickets that way as I reckon Johnny wasn't the only one who stood his ground and skipped the last one.

ASYLUM ORGANISERS (DILLY????) TAKE NOTE OF THIS PLEASE

Now where's that feckin Slater mix I noticed on my iphone today. Just logged into DL that tonight.
