    Folks

    Male mid 30's .Im heading out mid july for 2 weeks sunshine:). Has anyone travelled there on their own. any tips

    Not on my own but,if you are into diving,sun sea and sand and night life plus a bit of local culture[tours] etc,you'll enjoy it.
    It's very safe so enjoy.
    Do a package and pick a nice hotel,as packages go,Sharm is usually good value.

    I have been the once before, just not on my own. was meant to travel with someone but they are not heading now.

    it wouldnt be a location that i would pick to travel on my own.
    its more of a relaxing,getting a tan holiday place.

    cant complain though, beats been stuck in ireland .

    Do a course in kitesurfing - great sport and good place to do it and no doubt you'll meet some other people doing it.

    Where are you staying?male/female?How long?
    If you into diving then you are in for a great time.
    The weather was brilliant and its a great place to unwind, but i ended up cutting the hol short(10 days) and went to abu dhabi- family over there.
