Changing ebay account to someone else??

    Hi, I hope this is in the right forum if not please feel free to move it.

    Anywho, I was trying to have a look around the forums on ebay and I could'nt really find an answer to my question so if anybody could help me out here I would appreciate it.

    I'm working for a guy at the moment and about a year ago we had alot of old stock lying around and I suggested creating an ebay account to get rid of the stuff and we managed to do this but then we decided to sell some other stuff on it and it was going pretty well but the potential is there to do alot better. I was doing everything with ebay, paypal the lot and it has got to the point where my boss has'nt got any time to dedicate to the ebay shop so he said I could take it over and run it myself and reap the benifits from it but everything was set up in his name and his paypal account and the ebay shop is registered as his business. My question is there anyway I could change these details to mine or would I just have to start up a new ebay account or use my off personal one and transfer all the listings offer? Would I still be able to use his ebay account but set up my paypal address so that everything goes to my account and I just re-route all emails regarding the ebay account to my email address?

    The thing about doing this is that all our feedback will be lost as will the insertion discounts we get at the moment not to mention the effort of having to move everything over one by one.

    If I had to do this how would he then cancel his shop and buisiness account back to his own personal one for his own use. I would more than likely be setting up a businness account in time in on it aswell.

    If anybody has any insight into doing this I would appreciate it,

    Have you even looked at the account information when you lg in to eBay? It's all there, and you can edit most of it. Took less time to find that than to write this response.

    I was going through ebay.ie and there is not much there in regards changing account name and changing buisness account to a personal one. I just logged onto ebay.com and there seems to be alot more options on that are not available on the .ie account. When I go into the forums/resolution centers on the .ie site it brings me to the .co.uk version and a few people have asked the same questions as myself but the replies they get seem to be that you cannot change account names to someone else or types.

    I'll try and do it on the .com site and see will it changeeverything on the .ie one.

    You can change postal addresses etc but not names on the account.
