    The Trampz are an 8 piece funk and soul outfit from Ireland. With a
    revivalist approach to soul that has its roots in music of the 60s and
    70s, The Trampz fuse superb musicianship with ball bouncingly funny
    lyrics to create one hell of a funky feel good show. The tight-knit
    bass, drums and guitar section is complimented by percussion, organs/keys and The Raging Horns brass section; all of which is
    commanded by the slightly manic/always entertaining frontman, Kevin
    Johnston.

    With the release of their debut single, "1.2", The Trampz bring back
    that feel good 90's West Coast Hip Hop sound. A surefire summer hit,
    1.2 is a must for anyone who has had to drive a car with "character".
    So roll that window down as far as it'll go, adjust your coat hanger
    aerial to that funky frequency and turn whatever dials may still be
    working on your car stereo all the way up cos The Trampz "1.2" is the
    single you wanna be rollin' to!!!
