    Hi there,

just got a letter in the post this morning saying my JSA claim has been approved and to go to post office on Thurs with my SW card and ID. I had a SW card years ago but it's gone missing and when I started my claim on March 28th (yes that long ago!) I got a yellow temporary card. Since then I've had no need to use it due to the horrendous delays and bad service I've put up with in sorting this claim. However, upon getting today's letter I went to find it only to discover that it "expired" on May 28th. And the proper SW card I was assured would be send to me has never materialised.

So......any ideas on what to do? Do the post office staff check this kind of thing, especially with additional ID (passport)? Or am I as well to call to my SW office and get a new one today? It's not a major hassle to drop in but I've genuinely put up with a lot of messing from them, don't fancy going in and spending yet more time in a queue if it can be avoided.

not 100% sure to be honest but I'd imagine its a sw problem. You may go up to them and explain the situation they might be able to check up on the situation for you and if not at least give you another temporary card.
