    Morning all.

As part of my downsizing I've got hold of a Toyota Estima. It's currently in bits all over the house and garden as I do my thing with it.

Anyway, I've determined that it needs a few things done to it incl cambelt.

I've never tackled a TB and have heard that they are difficult on these buses. To make things worse an auxiliary drive shaft (for all the pumps etc up front (engine is under fron seats)) has to come off to get to the belt.

I also need a few mounts replaced.

Anyone know of a good mechanic that has done one before? I'm in North Kildare.

    Cheers,

No offence dude but you've got a fair strange cross section of taste when it comes to cars. Exactly what have you in the stable at the moment all told?

    .. .and here's me all excited thinking I've found a mechanic :p

Just off loaded the Lexus and the Amazon :(

    Now we have: -

    02 530d Black msport
    91 850ci Maritius Blue
    Toyota Starlet
    Toyota Estima

Seriously down on the total number of cylinders and general 'pleasure to drive' element over the past 2 weeks.

I want to start concentrating on the 8er. It's just sitting there watching me slave over cars I don't even intend to keep (Lexus).

The cruiser had been sitting idle for months so I decided to liquidate it and get the Estima for the snappers and lugging crap around. It's a 4WD manual so ticks a few more boxes too. Putting a 19" screen in the back :D

Sadly, despite all my best intentions, I now have my sights set on an E38 :o (all this damn chatter in the bangernomics thread !! )
