Freeview channels?

    Hey, this may have been played to death but I've been trying to add channels such as Dave, and yesTerday to my freeview box. Its a Kaon from Lidl...

    I've looked up the codes and tuned it etc. But they dont work, always coming up with a $ sign beside them...

    rather than keeping going can anyone just tell me straight out whether its possible to get more of such channels or not?

    The reason I ask is the RTÉ guide site lists these channels as freeview.

    Is your LIDL box Freeview...or Freesat? The entire Freeview suite of channels (i.e. what's being broadcast via terrestrial system in UK) is not on Freesat (ie satellite) - alas. We live in hope that Dave and a few others will turn up on satellite (FTA) but for now you gotta pay Murdoch.

    Well I'm not sure which it is, but I'm guessing its freesat. I feel so close but so far!!!

    Think Dave has to be one of the greatest TV stations going just for good ol fashioned entertainment...if eircom would just up their service i could watch it online! but their streaming is slow as a wet week
