3G Unrestrictor works well from cydia. Was free but now it's $3.99 i think.

On the iTunes Store there is a limit of 20MB on individual items. You can download as many items smaller than that as you would like.

Why is there such a limit?

If its for user experience it might make sense as 3G coverage is not dependable at times.

So as not to eat into limited data allowances and so the networks aren't tied up with large downloads.

You could try one of the 3rd party podcast apps. Though I'm not 100% sure if they'll this data restriction.

I use "Podcaster" and its much better than using the itunes app. There are a couple of similar apps out there.

There are a few of us in work with iphone 4 on 3 (unlimited data)
If one of us wants a large download, another will turn their phone into a hotspot and fire away.
Its kind of dumb that you can do that, but itt works. Not neccesarily any use to you though.
