Does anyone have any recommendation for a hostel in Darwin...

Looking at the different hostel sites but most seem to vary dramatically in review..will be planning on working so not looking for a party place!

stayed at the 'YHA' in Darwin and there was reasonable amount of partying, but generally down by the pool and sitting out front by the cars - away from the rooms.
plenty of people worked too and managed to get a good night's sleep.
also spend a few nights at 'Melaleuca on Mitchell' just down the road - bit more of a party hostel.
if your gonna work in a bar or restaurant, the partying shouldn't present a problem anyway

Cheer - will be looking for full time professional work and will be doing little partying as much as I can help it. Basically looking for a nice base for a few weeks while I find a job and then some more permanent accomo

Maybe you'll find a housemate wanted posting on Gumtree then.
    Good luck.
