    Hi

I was clearing out my attic and found two box's of vinyls with about 100 vinyls in each box, they are mostly 12" albums and singles and have a few 7" vinyls. They are all from the 70's and 80's. Is there anywhere in Dublin i can sell these and get a good price.? I don't really want to sell on ebay because there is too much of them. Also does anyone have a rough guideline price i would get for them.?

    Thanks rower2k8

There's a couple of places in the Market Arcade in South Great Georges Street but you're unlikely to get much from dealers. http://www.georgesstreetarcade.ie/dublin-shops.php

    You could also try Adverts.ie

I would put them up on Adverts.ie and ask for offers. I know I sold all mine years ago and then when the Virgin Megastore opened on the quays I replaced them all again. Back in 2001 I sold them all again (still in mint condition) for half nothing, so I'm not them man to ask about prices. :D

Totally depends on what they are and how good a condition they are in. Common or scratched records aren't really worth anything and plenty of stuff there is no demand for.

The Oxfam Book and Record Shop on Parliament st is a good place for unwanted records. Obviously they don't give you anything for them but they will get the best deal for a good cause. A lot of charity shops don't really have a clue but in Parliament Street they sort the wheat from the chaff.

Just on that note, they will also take your details and contact you if they get in specific records by artists that you're looking for (at least they did that for me some time ago)
