VC Question

Quick question as I'm confused here, and Been told it's a losing bet.

I backed Sergio Garcia EW in the winner market without Rory McIlroy and of course as we all know; he finished -5 under, in my book making him joint third when you take out Rory.

Meaning, Jason Day winner, Westwood, Garrigus, Chapell & Yang second, and Garcia and Hanson tied third.

According to them, Garcia finished tied 7th, which is correct when you include McIlroy. However, I'm guessing that they are going by the US Open tied scoring charts, and are not working on my theory :pac:

Guessing I don't have anything to claim?
Tiny money, but thought I might get a little bit of my stake back!

    Cheers lads.

Garcia was tied 6th w/o McIlroy.

Day, Westwood, Garrigus, Chapell and Yang all finished ahead of him and took up the first 5 places... He was next tied 6th with Hanson.

    Yeah, that's what I thought.
Cheers for clearing it up! :)
