Toliet leaking at base

    Hi, i noticed my toilet is leaking at the base, can anyone tell me i need to get a new flap valve & is a job you can do yourself or will i need to get a plumber in?I have wedeged the float arm to stop the water, is this ok?

    Any help appreciated.

    is it the flush base connector where the base connects to the pipe, water is liniing through...hope this helps as not to equipped with this?

    same thing happen me since i replaced the ball cock in the toilet !! :(:mad:

    Not sure what you mean by a flap valve or a flush base connector , it'd be probably better if you take a picture and point out exactly where your talking about
