I was going to start a thread asking if anyone had ever received a very unusual or weird gift. I thought there might be a few amusing stories.
So, I did a quick search to check that there wasnt a similar thread already.

Take a look at the Google Ad that showed up in the search results - that is a very weird present.

Dunno if I have ever gotten a weird present but I certainly love giving them. Card full of glitter, penis tuxedo, origami turtle, chocolate champagne bottle, shiny man thong, chocolate mouse, a DVD called "Jack Brooks Monster Slayer I Used to be a Plumber," some fresh shamrock.

I am amazing at giving presents and do it all the time.

I don't know, it was a gift. I gave it to a couple. Girl hated it, guy loved it. I thought it looked great!

A girlfriend once got me a tie-clip with a little model of the Concorde on it.

Putting aside the fact that tie-clips are a fashion feux-pas for even those over 70, I (a) have a morbid fear of flying that she was well aware of and (b) it was just after the Paris crash of the Air France Concorde.

Not a present as such but I did get a Ham and Cheese roll when i was trick-a-treating as a child....looked behind the owl fella who gave it to me into his kitchen...stacked on the table was a mountain of ham rolls wrapped in tin foil.

    Weirdo.

Bought a mate of mine an electric vagina for his 17th Birthday.

A few years ago, a bunch of us forgot to to get our mate something for her 21st. So while we were having cans before we headed to the party, we got a Chinese. It was only then that we realised we hadn't got her anything. So we gave her the bag from the Chinese and told her we got her the scent of China for her birthday.
