Sorry Mods if this is in the wrong section, I got a call from my Health Insurance provider recently (Quinn Health) asking was i happy with the policy and the guy i was talking to said i can claim back half the money i pay on a dentist visit, so he sent out a claim form to me.
He said to send back the claim form with the receipt.
So my question is: i just fill out the part which says dentist treatment and fill in the amount i paid and how many visits and send this with the receipt to Quinn?
Im on the Healthcare Starter Package too.
    Thanks.

    Hi SIG83,

Had a quick google for that Healthcare Starter Package and found this.

Looking at it, it seems very basic...

"Emergency dental treatment for and immediately following an accident: up to €510 for restorative treatment"
    &
"The cost of one non-emergency dental treatment each year, up to a maximum of €25"

So, you are entitled to €25 back per year on non-emergency treatment.

If it was classed as emergency treatment you might be in for as few quid back, but if it was just standard visits, it's only 25 quid.

Were your visits emergency ones or just routine ones?

    Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, there are just six month check ups, next one is this Friday coming.

How much are the check ups, €40?

I think you'll only be eligible for the 25 back so.

Sure stick them all down on the claim form and they'll figure it out.

Think it was 60 last time, pricey enough!! That was check up and cleaning.

Op generally dental cover is quite limited for non emergency stuff.
My own plan is quite good but the dental cover is poor enough tbh.

But you are definitely right to claim as much as you can.

Hopefully I'll get something out of it , I'm paying enough for health insurance!!
