Water Dispenser Help

    Hi All,

Im hoping someone can help me, I've gotten a Samsung Side by Side Fridge Freezer with built in Ice maker and Water Dispenser, all the hoses are connected and hanging down the back of the Fridge, the thing is as I got it from my sister when she was moving house, there was no connector to bring from the 6mm white plastic water pipe to a 3/4 inch copper pipe and stop valve that was put in for me to allow use of the fridge.
From what I have been told it is a standard washing machine stop valve that is there with the water supply.

I do not have access to the old house to take the connection that was in place.

Would anyone have any idea on what kind of connector/reducer I could use? And where i could get one?
I've tried Homebase/Woodies/B&Q etc and nothing suitable, also tried Heatmerchants to no avail.

    Thanks

    Al

i would say you will have to contact the manufacturer, find the closest agent, and get them to order a replacment

Where are you living , if you are in Dublin smallmans in ranelagh do the fittings , they are called John guest fittings , cut a bit of the pipe off and bring it in with you , I could be wrong but I think dpl in dunlaoghaire and kilmainham also do them , but I know for sure that smallmans do them .

Hey sullzz, thanks for that, i'm actually in Limerick, sorry, should have said it in the original post. i'll have a look around tomorrow to see if anywhere here does the John Guest fittings.
