    Just entered.

Can't see a race profile. Would like to get some idea of it. The run in the sprint tri has a nice testing hill for a km or so. But not sure it gets any worse really and would suspect the run from Chapeltown back to Knightstown (I'm assuming this is the last leg) would be a nice finish.

The uphill run section of the tri is the same as the first miles of the half marathon. I keeps climbing after that. If I remember correctly, the high point is about 2.5 miles from Knightstown. Then you have some easy miles and then a few undulating ones towards Bray Head.

There are a couple of hills on the return journey as well, but nothing like the big one at the start and the last 2.5 miles are completely flat (the shore road, not the "main" road between Chapeltown and Knightstown), as chances are we'll have tailwind there as well.

If you did the tri, the half marathon mostly follows the cycle route with an additional out-and-back (hilly :D) section.

Not sure if forecast that good, but guess it couldn't be any worse than the Triathlon there earlier this summer!

Still, looking forward to this now. Hope they get a crowd.

Lovely event, very well organised, tough course but you do get rewarded with some absolutely stunning views.

And did I mention the entry fee was very reasonable?

I very much enjoyed it and can absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Yeah, enjoyed that. Nice day, lovely run. Only small gripe was that I got the last tshirt, which was xl, they should perhaps have set aside the number and sizes for those who had prepaid. On the other hand, coffee and sandwiches after a nice touch.
