    Well lads,

Anyone know what courses are still up and running? What condition are they in/prices etc.. Any info would be great. Doesnt seem to be any websites on any of them.

    Cheers

Can't really be definite about prices/condition as it's been a while since I played any P&P course in the area but AFAIK all of these are still open:

    Public Courses: Murroe, Adare, Sixmilebridge
Members Courses: Parteen, Ardnacrusha, Catholic Institute (9 Holes)

Last time I played Murroe & Adare it was about €4-€5 - a few euros extra if you need to hire the clubs as well.

All much tha same really, I'd prefer Murroe over Adare as Adare is completely flat whereas Murroe has a few slopes. Don't be expecting Augusta type greens though, they're both a bit rough round the edges.

Waltons Lodge in Sixmilebridge is very well kept and way longer than Adare, a couple of hole are nearly par 3's.

    Hard place to find though.

I played Murroe a bit in the past, not in a while though. Some nice holes and features on a lot of the holes-a bit tight but very enjoyable.

Waltons Lodge in Sixmilebridge is a great pitch and putt course but stay away from the "Golf course". Very well kept (Apart from one hole that always seems wet). Long and a good challenge.
