    Hi there
We are heading to Wellington for the Qtr Finals - really looking forward to it. Was thinking should we organise an Irish session before the games? Anyone interested?

Wellington isnt that big it will be hard to miss any irish fans. You wont need to organise anything, it'll just happen by itself!

We've booked all our flights etc but can't get accommodation in Wellington for the quarter finals. seems to be completely booked out...

    Are you renting a car?

If so Poirua, Lower Hutt and even the Wairapa would be a short enough car journey

Lower hutt isnt that far away, maybe 15-20 mins from Wellington CBD. There are buses and trains. Check on http://www.metlink.org.nz/ for the full service listings. Metlink serve the greater Wellington area.

Wellington would be far better than any of the suburbs but at this stage it might be a case of beggars and choosers!

Poirua is as rough as guts and one to avoid. Wairapa involves driving on insanely narrow mountain roads, very pretty though.
